About the event
YALA is delighted to invite its members to a guided tour of East London’s public art trail “The Line” on Thursday 20 August 2026.
Led by Sarah Carrington (Director of The Line) and hosted by Boodle Hatfield LLP, the guided tour will explore East London’s public art trail. The outdoor exhibition programme offers a journey of art, nature and heritage. The group will start the tour at Cody Dock, walk to Three Mills and finish in Stratford.
On the walk, the group will discover installations by Katie Schwab, Helen Cammock, Madge Gill, Eva Rothschild and Virginia Overton, alongside new commissions by Rasheed Araeen, Mahtab Hussain and Zineb Sedira.
For those who would like to continue the conversation after the walk, or for anyone unable to attend the full tour, YALA will be gathering at a nearby venue for drinks afterwards from 6:00pm. Further details will be shared closer to the event.
WHERE: The Line, East London (meeting at Star Lane DLR station, walking to Cody Dock, Three Mills and finishing at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford)
