The ALA Milan Conference

The ALA warmly welcomes you to its Milan conference, hosted at Fondazione Luigi Rovati on 20 May 2026.

The event will begin with a welcome at 10:00 am, followed by a gallery tour of the current exhibition from 10:15 to 11:15 am and a keynote address on Recent Developments in Italian Art Law from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.

From 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, the first panel, Art Disputes: What Makes Them So Special?, will explore topics such as forum shopping, arbitration, mediation and emerging trends.

A late lunch on site will follow from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

The afternoon will continue with the second panel, The Great Transfer of Wealth: Legal and Market Challenges, from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm, addressing estate planning, collection audits and next generation preferences.

The day will conclude with a reception and an opportunity for informal networking.
